Beautiful Parrot Lake has much to offer visitors. Parrot Lake is a beautiful lake in the Salmon River Mountains. Parrot Lake gets very little rainfall; June is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Salmon River Mountains.
This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Parrot Lake is right by the Waterfall Trail. You'll need more than a day

| | to discover everything Parrot Lake has to offer, you can camp at Parrot Placer Campground. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Salmon River Mountains. Airplane Lake is a magnificent lake in close proximity to Parrot Lake, and a perfect panorama of scenic Aggipah Mountain is available. This lake is so wonderful. go whitewater paddling on Panther Creek.
Hiking along the South Fork Trail is tremendous fun; Camas Creek is a glorious whitewater spot close by. For the duration of the summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Parrot Lake;
through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Parrot Lake temperatures drop to the 0's. Lakes? Sure, Ship Island
Lake is close by. There's so much to do here at Parrot Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Middle Fork Campground is a great place for that.
