If you come at the right time of year, Blackfoot River offers some nice whitewater, and do pop by Rat Lake, it's a striking lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Alpine North Loop - Targhee National Forest is always a pleasant experience, and Rock Spring is always fun to check out. You'll meet a lot of folks from Idaho Falls here, and you'll locate a picturesque lake called Robison       Reservoir. During the warm months highs here at Parleys Reservoir reach the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Parleys Reservoir. Parleys Reservoir is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Grave Creek Campground is a glorious local campground.
