Through the long summer days at Parleys Reservoir temperatures are regularly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at Parleys Reservoir temperatures plunge to the 0's. Alpine North Loop - Targhee National Forest is a good campground here; there are some perfect whitewater       spots on Blackfoot River. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Grave Creek Campground is a tremendous spot to camp. During your visit to Parleys Reservoir you'll meet some folks from Idaho Falls for sure, and Rock Spring is always fun to check out.
