Summertime highs at Packsaddle Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's. Summer night lows drop down to the 40's. Through the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's; nighttime lows all through the winter for Packsaddle Lake tend to be in the 0's. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Bitch Creek, and a nice nearby hotel is Teton Mountain View Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. Teton River has a great whitewater paddling spot       nearby, and camping at Pine Creek Campground is always a delightful experience. Packsaddle Lake is a place with many visitors from Rexburg, and you can go for a hike on the De Coster Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Packsaddle Lake gets very little precipitation; through the month of May you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is August. Best Western Teton West is a nice spot to get some rest; the snow is pleasant at Grand Targhee.                  Some close by water includes South Fork Packsaddle Creek, and going for a hike on the Carlton Cutoff Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Be careful coming to Packsaddle Lake, you might not ever want to go home again.
