A visit to Oxbow Reservoir is always a good idea. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun things the Wallowa Mountains has to offer. Oxbow Reservoir is right by the Red Ledge Trail. Oxbow Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Wallowa Mountains. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the vicinity of Oxbow Reservoir. Don't forget to take a great little spree to Blue Creek, and camping is available at McCornick Campground.

For the period of the summer highs here at Oxbow Reservoir reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's while Oxbow
Reservoir overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you fancy a little side journey, try Limestone Gulch, and you simply have to go to The Oxbow since you're here at Oxbow Reservoir.
A brilliant close by hotel is Hells Canyon Rv Park & Cabins, and you don’t have to go far from Oxbow Reservoir to see the water at Oxbow Dam.
