Camping at Wildhorse Lake Campground is always a delightful experience. If you come at the right time of year, Clearwater River - South Fork offers some delightful whitewater, and don't leave Oregon Butte Lake without first checking out Drumlummen Point. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant spot to camp here at                  Oregon Butte Lake is Orogrande Summit Campground; a great nearby hotel is SUPER 8 MOTEL - GRANGEVILLE. Oregon Butte Lake gets a common amount of annual rainfall; January is the wettest month with most snow while July is generally the driest month. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Clearwater Mountains is so good! You're probably addicted to lakes, Deer Lake is one of those nearby, and don't leave Oregon Butte Lake without first going for a hike along the Nellie Mountain Trail. Now, you may imagine that's lots but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Clearwater Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Salmon River - South Fork, and a pleasant trip to Tepee Flats is a good way to spend an afternoon.
