This lake is so wonderful. Slide Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and do set aside some time for Bighorn Basin since you're here at Ocalkens Lake. Throughout the days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Ocalkens Lake with nighttime lows in the 30's. Throughout the winter this place gets       highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Ocalkens Lake during the winter generally descend into the-10's. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Ocalkens Lake rocks! The Bull Moose Trail is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of Ocalkens Lake; if you came for an overnight stay Lower O'Brien Campground is a fine spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. SnowRun by ResortQuest is a wonderful site to get some rest. If you're addicted to cool geologic marks,                  try Chinese Wall, and there's whitewater on Salmon River for all you adrenaline kick people. Around Ocalkens Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; December is the month that gets the most snow; the driest of the months is July. A lake close by is Cirque Lake, and camping is available at Marshall Creek Campground.
