Hiking along the Dead Mule Trail is magnificent fun, and you can run the rapids of St. Joe River. Any time is a great time at Nub Lakes if you go for the outdoors. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - St. Regis. Yeah, come up here to the Bitterroot Range for a great time. Nub Lakes is a wonderful location to visit for more than one day, Washington Creek Campground is a wonderful location to camp nearby; get your       heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Clearwater River - North Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Buck Creek is a pretty stream that is worth a visit; you can stay the night at Aquarius Campground. The Nub is clearly visible from Nub Lakes, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Shin Point Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bitterroot Range. Through the summer months highs here at Nub Lakes reach the 80's while overnight                  lows are typically in the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Nub Lakes.
