Noseeum Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. From a precipitation point of view Noseeum Lake is a rather common spot; January is when you get the most snow here, and the driest month of the year is July. But wait, there's more exciting things to do in the Clearwater Mountains. Drift down the rapids of Clearwater River - Little North Fork in a kayak, and if you come at the right time of year, St. Joe River - Skookum

nearby lake that you could have a look at. The Old Montana Trail is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of Noseeum Lake, and Barren Hill can be made out from Noseeum Lake. For the duration of the warmest time of the year,
highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Noseeum Lake. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. For the duration of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 30's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures
at Noseeum Lake dip into the 20's. A lake nearby is Steamboat Lake, and going for a hike on the Rukgaber Trail is always a magnificent adventure. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Noseeum Lake that you need
to camp here for a while, Twin Creek Campground is a tremendous location for that, and nearby you find the Nelson Peak Trail which is a glorious hiking trail.

1935. The local ski pioneers chose Lookout Pass because of the abundant snowfall and excellent snow quality which they could access by jumping on the Northern Pacific railcars as they proceeded east from the mining towns of Wallace and Mullan, Idaho. These ski adventurers would hop off the railcars at the summit and utilize a highway storage shed as a warming hut
