One of the major marks of the surroundings of Norton Lakes is Norton Peak, naturally you could also check out Smoky Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Summer at Norton Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Norton Lakes overnight low temperatures during the winter are       in the-10's. Head up to Sun Valley and strap some skis to your feet; Greyhawk by ResortQuest is a great site to get some rest. Norton Lakes gets very little rain; December is the wettest month with most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. So many entertaining things to do in the Sawtooth Range, not enough time. A perfect spot close to Norton Lakes is Miner Canyon. This lake is so wonderful.
