If you are in Idaho county it's always a good idea to stop by North Three Links Lakes. Camping is available at Race Track Campground, and Lochsa River is a magnificent whitewater spot close by. The Clearwater Mountains scenery is always beautiful. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Clearwater Mountains.
All through the summer highs here at North Three Links Lakes get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's.

| | Throughout the wintertime highs are commonly in the 30's, and nighttime lows at North Three Links Lakes during the winter frequently fall into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. From North Three Links Lakes you get a perfect view of The Crags; brilliant hiking is available along the Meadow Creek National Recreation Trail. glorious experience, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lochsa River.
So much amusing stuff to do in the Clearwater Mountains, not sufficient time. Lakes? Sure,
Big Fog Lake is close by, and hiking is a popular thing to do around North Three Links Lakes; Anderson Butte National Recreation Trail is a great local trail. Canteen Meadows is a pleasant spot, and you can go for a hike on the East
Boyd Glover Roundtop National Recreation Trail. From a rainfall point of view North Three Links Lakes is a rather common site; during the month of January you get the most snow around here while July is usually the driest month.
