  This lake is so wonderful. A good panorama of beautiful East Peak is available from North Lone Lake.
North Lone Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Shady Creekssissippi River Pools 11-22 is a great place to camp nearby. Clearwater National Forest is a delightful location to stretch your legs a bit, and Fog Mountain Trailhead is a magnificent local campground. This lake is one of the great places here in the Clearwater Mountains.
    The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to North Lone Lake. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's.
