Going for a hike on the Forty-Four Trail is always a great adventure, and soar down the rapids of Owyhee River - South Fork in a kayak. North Lambert Reservoir is a location that is relatively dried out       generally; the month with most of the rain is November, and July is when it's the driest. There are wonderful locations to explore along the Rough Trail, and there is a wonderful hiking trail nearby called the Grasshopper Trail. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at North Lambert Reservoir temperatures are generally in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and                  overnight lows at North Lambert Reservoir through the winter commonly plunge into the 10's.
