If you are traveling by, why not stop by North Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Upper Payette Campground is a nice spot to camp, and a glorious close by hotel is Western Mountain Lodge. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are truly plentiful here at North Lake. Diamond Rock is simple to spot from North Lake, and nearby you hit upon the Box Lake Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. Deep Lake is a nearby lake that you could

| | check out, and camping is available at Burgdorf Campground.
For the duration of the summer months highs here at North Lake reach the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at North Lake fall into the 20's. - North Fork for all you adrenaline junkies, and there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Crestline Trail.
So much fun stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains, not enough time. At North Lake you don’t see much rainfall;
the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This location, the Salmon River Mountains, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Going for a hike on the Fall Creek Trail is always a splendid adventure; after a long day outdoors AmericInn McCall is a great place to spend a night or two.
