Dry warm beds await you at La Quinta Inn Sandpoint; there's whitewater on Priest River for all you adrenaline kick people. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Schweitzer Mountain Resort is a wonderful location to get some rest, and why not take a look at Mallard Bay also if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Muskrat Lake; Leiberg-Athol Trail is a great local trail, and as expected Carr Creek is a striking stream

| | that is worth going to. Everybody close by loves skiing at Schweitzer; the White Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best.
At Muskrat Lake during the summertime months highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Muskrat Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. most snow here; the driest month is July. A gorgeous lake like Little Lake in the vicinity of Muskrat Lake is a fine place to go to, and Fox Farm RV Resort is a great local campground.

Muskrat Lake near Muskrat Lake, it's a pretty lake, and Spring Point Campground is a nice campground nearby. Muskrat Lake is right by the Chipmunk Rapids National Recreation Trail; there are some fine whitewater spots on Pack River.
