Sure, Moose Lake is near Mud Lake, and glorious hiking is available along the Teton Crest Trail. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do in close proximity to Mud Lake. There's whitewater on Pine Creek for all you thrill seekers, and the slopes of Grand Targhee are so inviting noone can resist. Here at Mud Lake you'll probably meet some folks from Jackson, and you might also want       to pay a visit to Sweet Hollow if you're here at Mud Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Teton Valley Campground; don't leave Mud Lake without first going for a hike along the Game Creek Trail. Camping at Trail Creek Campground is always a perfect experience, and you can go for a hike on the Taylor Mountain Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Teton Creek, and Super 8 Motel - Driggs is                  a wonderful location to get some rest. This is a good vicinity for people who like lakes. Upper Palisades Lake is a lake close at hand, and hey, Gotta ski right? Jackson Hole is a fine site to do that. Mud Lake is a location that is pretty dry frequently; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and March is when it's the driest. During the months of summer, highs frequently are in the 70's at Mud Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. During the winter the highs are regularly in the 20's with temperatures at Mud Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. If only every spot had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great planet it would be.
