Dry warm beds await you at AmericInn Hailey, and unsurprisingly, this is a great region for folks who like lakes, Johnson Reservoir is a lake in the vicinity. There's so much to do here at Mud Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Riverside RV Campground is a brilliant spot for that, and Sonner Dam is a lovely spot, certainly worth checking out. Mud Lake       is usually a relatively dry location; January is the wettest month with most snow; July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Little Wood River, and perhaps you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Tapper Lake is just a very short distance away. During the months of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Mud Lake. Summer night lows plunge down to the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in                  the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Mud Lake descend into the 0's.
