A wonderful close by hotel is SUPER 8 MOTEL - MONTPELIER, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Limber Pine Trail. High temperatures at Mud Lake during the summer months are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Mud Lake are in the 10's. While you're here at       Mud Lake, you could also visit beautiful Merkley Lake, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Logan here. Any time is a fine time at Mud Lake if you adore the outdoors. Going for a hike on the Bloomington Lake Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and obviously Paris Creek is a scenic stream that is worth checking out. Why not camp at Cedars and Shade Campground while you're here at Mud Lake, and you'll stumble on a striking lake called Bear Lake. Mud Lake is                  a location that is reasonably dried up regularly; most of the rain falls during June, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
