If the weather is pleasant here at Mud Lake, you can go for a hike along the Bloomington Lake Trail; Mud Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Cedars and Shade Campground is a great place to camp nearby. High temperatures at Mud Lake during the warmest time of the year are in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. During the winter highs are commonly in       the 30's while the cold winter nights at Mud Lake are in the 10's. Going for a hike along the Limber Pine Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and it's a good idea to go to Paris Creek. Mud Lake is a location that is relatively dry ordinarily; June is the month that gets the most rain; July is when it's the driest. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Mud Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
