The Bloomington Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and Mud Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Cedars and Shade Campground is a great place to camp nearby. At Mud Lake throughout the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter       are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Mud Lake. Don't leave Mud Lake without first going for a hike along the Midland Trail; you can stay the night at Montpelier Creek KOA. Mud Lake gets very little precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally June, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is July. This lake is so wonderful. Mud Lake is a site with many visitors from Logan, and if you need a place to                  stay Super 8 Montpelier is a good choice. Now, you may imagine that's a lot but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Mud Lake.
