High temperatures at Mud Lake through the summer months are in the 80's; the night is somewhat colder of course, typically in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Mud Lake temperatures drop to the 0's. At Mud Lake you don’t see much rainfall;       May is the month that gets the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. Going for a hike on the Midland Trail is always a great adventure, and a lake close by is Merkley Lake. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Mud Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect close by hotel is Super 8 Montpelier, and Minnetonka RV Parks and Campgrnd is a good local campground.
