| | Hard Creek meadows is a great way to spend an afternoon. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Salmon River Mountains is so good! On a good day at Morgan Lake you can take a hike along the Lava Butte Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Hazard Creek offers some tremendous whitewater. This lake is located in the wonderful Salmon River Mountains. There is a tremendous hiking trail right next door to Morgan Lake called the Crestline Trail. | |

During the long summer days highs here at Morgan Lake reach the 90's, and the night is fairly colder of course, commonly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Morgan Lake dipping down into the
20's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant site to check out right next door to Morgan Lake is Bascom Canyon; Whitetail Club and Resort is a nice spot to get some rest. Looking for some flowing water? Try
Hyatt Creek, and don't leave Morgan Lake without first paying a visit to Hazard Falls. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Morgan Lake. If you need a site to stay Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge is a splendid choice,
and lakes are such calm places, why not stop at Buck Lake. Morgan Lake is pretty dehydrated commonly; May is when you get the most rain here, and July is the month with the least moisture. There's so much to do here at Morgan
Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Zims Hot Springs is a perfect site for that, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Hard Creek.
