All year is a good time in the Salmon River Mountains if you go for the outdoors. If you need a site to stay Whitetail Club and Resort is a tremendous choice; camping is available at Hazard Campground. It is very dehydrated here at Morgan Lake frequently; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most while July is commonly the driest month. It's always tremendous to stop       by Hazard Falls. Near Morgan Lake you locate Bascom Canyon which is a magnificent place to go to, of course you could also explore Coffee Cup Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Near Morgan Lake you stumble on the Lava Butte Trail which is a glorious hiking trail; if you came for an overnight stay Zims Hot Springs is a pleasant site to camp. Try Hyatt Creek, and there are good spots to explore along the Crestline Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Don’t forget to take a look at Hard Creek meadows since you're here at Morgan Lake, and you can run the rapids of Hard Creek. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Morgan Lake, and the night is rather colder of course, frequently in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Morgan Lake through the winter regularly descend into the 20's. Morgan Lake is one of the lakes here in the Salmon River Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Broken Leg Trail is always a great adventure, and Hazard Creek is a nice whitewater spot close by. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Salmon River Mountains, too pleasant to be true.
