Morehead Lake is a nice lake to visit. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly is abundant here in the Salmon River Mountains. The Sulphur Creek Trail is a good hiking trail close to Morehead Lake. Morehead Lake is a beautiful lake in the Salmon River Mountains. That right there is plenty already, but it keeps on going; Morehead Lake has it all. There is a good hiking trail close to Morehead Lake called the Camptender Trail, and on a good day you can take a hike

| | along the Prospect Creek Trail.
Summertime highs at Morehead Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's; the night is rather colder of course, regularly in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Morehead Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. Fork. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Salmon River Mountains. What would winter be without some skiing at Brundage Mountain, and Morehead Lake is a fine site to camp, Velvet Falls Campground is a fine site.
The
amount of precipitation that falls at Morehead Lake is close to the national average; during the month of January you get the most snow around here, and July on the other hand is the driest. You'll need more than a day to explore
everything Morehead Lake has to offer, you can camp at Boy Scout Camp Campground; the vista of beautiful Morehead Mountain is tremendous. This lake is so wonderful. Get dripping wet paddling on Bear Valley Creek, and there's some flowing water nearby, Morehead Creek is a stream you can stop by while you're here.
