For the duration of the warm months at Moose Lake highs are generally in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. Through the winter highs are frequently in the 30's; nighttime lows all through the winter for Moose Lake tend to be in the 10's. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Near Moose Lake you come across the Sweeney Ridge Trail which is a glorious hiking trail, and if you get bored of Moose Lake you could also explore nearby Grimes Lake. whitewater paddling is splendid on Brushy Fork. A typical amount of rain falls here at Moose Lake; most of the snow falls all through January, and the driest month is July.
