Moose Lake is commonly a pretty arid place; the month with most of the rain is November while July is ordinarily the driest month. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Cabinet Mountains. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the East Fork Boulder Creek Trail, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Kootenai River Inn Casino & Spa is a fine place to spend a night or two. | | Lake Campground; Moose Lake is right by the North Fork Trail. Just can't get enough of the Cabinet Mountains. East Fork Public Campground is a nice campground nearby, and hiking along the Alpine Trail is tremendous fun. There's whitewater on Yaak River for all you adrenaline junkies; Blacktail Lake is a delightful lake close by. here than Moose Lake, for example Lake Estelle. Moose Lake is located in the Cabinet Mountains. Getting to Alpine Creek from Moose Lake is simple, and from Moose Lake you get a great view of Benning Mountain.
