And that's not all the things you can do here in the Cabinet Mountains. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the East Fork Boulder Creek Trail, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Kootenai River Inn Casino & Spa is a fine place to spend a night or two. Yeah, come here to Moose Lake for a delightful time. Stay the night at Porcupine       Lake Campground; Moose Lake is right by the North Fork Trail. Just can't get enough of the Cabinet Mountains. East Fork Public Campground is a nice campground nearby, and hiking along the Alpine Trail is tremendous fun. There's whitewater on Yaak River for all you adrenaline junkies; Blacktail Lake is a delightful lake close by. During the summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Moose Lake; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs                  throughout the winter are in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Moose Lake. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Kootenai, and there are other sites here than Moose Lake, for example Lake Estelle. Moose Lake is located in the Cabinet Mountains.
