Priest River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby, and camping is available at Navigation Campground. This lake is so wonderful. There are good locations to discover along the Hanna Flast Nature Trail, and whitewater paddling is fine on Boundary Creek. The skiing at Schweitzer is wonderful. Camping at Plowboy Campground is always a great experience; Caribou Hill is clearly       visible from Mollies Lake. From a rainfall point of view Mollies Lake is a pretty typical place; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Mollies Lake, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's.
