In Idaho there are many beautiful lakes, Moe Lake is one of them. There's so much to do here at Moe Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bear Creek Pass Campground is a delightful place for that, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Hamilton Inn is a splendid place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the North Route Of Old Nez Perce Trail is always a fine adventure, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked,

| | you can always go whitewater paddling on White Sand Creek. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing things the Bitterroot Range has to offer. Near Moe Lake you hit upon the Old Nez Perce Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail, and Moe Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Schumaker Campground is a fine local campground.

Creek is a fine whitewater spot nearby. The amount of precipitation that falls at Moe Lake is close to the national average; most of the snow falls all through January, and July is the month with the least moisture. Throughout the
warmest time of the year at Moe Lake highs are generally in the 80's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Moe Lake.
Having a
fine time in the Bitterroot Range is simple. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Lost Trail is right next door to Moe Lake, and on a lovely day you get a great vista of Cove Peak from Moe Lake. The Bitterroot Range scenery is always beautiful.
