The Ship Island Trail is a wonderful hiking trail in the vicinity of Mirrow Lake, and Mirrow Lake sits in the shade of the Bighorn Crags. Mirrow Lake is one of the lakes here in the Salmon River Mountains. For the duration of the months of summer highs here at Mirrow Lake get into the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. Through the wintertime       the highs are regularly in the 20's with temperatures at Mirrow Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Salmon River Mountains rocks! The view of charming Bighorn Crags near Mirrow Lake is delightful, and do stop at Pothole Lake, it's a striking lake. If the weather is delightful here at Mirrow Lake, you can go for a hike along the Waterfall Trail, and Mirrow Lake is a good place to visit for                  more than one day, Crags Campground is a good place to camp nearby. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Salmon River Mountains has to offer. Get your heart beating on the nice whitewater of Panther Creek. A good place for whitewater paddling close to Mirrow Lake is Camas Creek; you can stay the night at Yellowjacket Campground. Mirrow Lake is pretty dried out generally; all through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is February. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! Mirrow Lake is excellent!
