If you are in this part of Idaho make sure to pay a visit to Mirror Lake. Mirror Lake is located in the Clearwater Mountains. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Mirror Lake. On a pretty day you get a view of Buffalo Hump from Mirror Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Clearwater River - South Fork. If you need a place to stay Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge is a great choice; why not a little side journey to Butcher Creek.

| | should stop by Scotts Bluff since you're here at Mirror Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Reed Bar Trail. Mirror Lake is pretty dried up frequently; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Wildhorse Lake Campground is a great place to camp, and do take a hike on the Nellie Mountain Trail.

Orogrande Summit Campground is a tremendous local campground, and hiking along the Pilot Knob Trail is nice fun. At Mirror Lake during the summertime highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures
drop down into the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Mirror Lake.
