Mirror Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. And that's not all you can do here in the Clearwater Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Clearwater River - South Fork offers some wonderful whitewater, and hiking along the Nellie Mountain Trail is delightful fun. This lake is so wonderful. It is very dehydrated here at Mirror Lake regularly; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; February is the

| | month with the least moisture.
And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do near Mirror Lake. There are other places here than Mirror Lake, for example Hump Lake, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Salmon Rapids Lodge is a good place to spend a night or two. Throughout the warm months at Mirror Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into
the 40's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Mirror Lake are in the 20's. Just can't get enough of the Clearwater Mountains. No need to travel far to have a look at out
of the ordinary stuff like Scotts Bluff, and not far from Mirror Lake you'll discover Wiseboy Lakes which is a stunning lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Clearwater Mountains.
Mirror Lake is right by the Reed Bar Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Orogrande Summit Campground is a great spot to camp.
