Near Miner Lake you stumble on Miner Canyon which is a magnificent spot to go to. But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Sawtooth Range. Sun Valley is a tremendous local ski area; why not take a refreshing hike along the Yellow Belly Trail. All the outdoors fun things in the vicinity of Miner Lake will keep you coming back many times. The view of beautiful Norton Peak near Miner Lake is fine,       and Norton Lakes is a wonderful lake close by. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sawtooth Range. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is SnowRun by ResortQuest, and Prairie Campground is a great local campground. Lakes are such calm locations, why not go to Prairie Lakes near Miner Lake, and everyone close by loves skiing at Soldier Mountain Ski Resort. Miner Lake is pretty dried out typically; most of the snow falls throughout                  December, and July on the other hand is the driest. At Miner Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 70's with night lows in the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; night lows at Miner Lake all through the wintertime mostly fall into the-10's.
