You could also stop at Miner Lake while you're here at Mill Lake; it's nearby, and if you came to camp Prairie Campground is a fine place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Soldier Mountain Ski Resort is good, and Mill Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Baker Creek Campground is a pleasant local campground. A tremendous close by hotel is SnowRun       by ResortQuest, and the view of Norton Peak is scenic. And if that's not sufficient, there's loads more to do in the vicinity of Mill Lake. A lake close by is Norton Lakes, and if you need a place to stay Greyhawk by ResortQuest is a pleasant choice. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Mill Lake. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 30's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and night lows through the                  winter for Mill Lake tend to be in the-10's. Mill Lake is a location that is reasonably dried up commonly; the month with most of the snow is December, and the driest of the months is July. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Sawtooth Range is unbeatable! A good spot to take a look at near Mill Lake is Miner Canyon, and brilliant hiking is available along the Yellow Belly Trail. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Sawtooth Range has to offer.
