Man, is there a load of fun stuff to do close to Milk Lake. There are glorious sites to discover along the Monumental Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Pungo Creek Campground is a good site to camp. And if that's not enough there's a heap more fun things to do in the Salmon River Mountains. You'll come across a gorgeous lake called Catherine Lake near Milk Lake, and a wonderful lake like Roosevelt Lake is a brilliant place to pop by. The annual rain

| | here at Milk Lake is about average; through January this area sees the most snow, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Salmon River - Middle Fork for all you adrenaline kick people, and at Milk Lake you can see Lookout Mountain. Milk Lake is one of the lakes here in the Salmon River Mountains. Mountains. Going for a hike on the Lookout Mountain Ridge Trail is always a nice adventure; Guard Station Campground is a wonderful campground nearby. The warmest time of the year at Milk Lake comes with high temperatures in the
70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Milk Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
