Middle Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Big Chief Creek Trail, and Brundage Mountain is a very popular ski area nearby. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Salmon River - East Fork of South Fork, and the peak of Crater Peak can be seen from Middle Lake. All through the summer here at Middle Lake, high temperatures usually reach the 70's; the night is somewhat cooler of course, usually in the

| | 30's. Highs through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 30's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Middle Lake tend to be in the 0's.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Salmon River Mountains. Man, is there plenty of cool stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains. If only every site had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great globe it would be. Going for a hike on the Parks Peak Trail is always a tremendous adventure,
and dry warm beds await you at Mccall Super 8 Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. So many cool things to do here in the Salmon River Mountains, too great to be true. Ellison Creek is a perfect local stream, and camping at Yellow Pine
Campground is always a pleasant experience.
Don't leave Middle Lake without first going for a hike along the Indian Creek Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Johnson Creek offers some tremendous whitewater.
