In Idaho there are many beautiful lakes, Middle Lake is one of them. Throughout the warm days of summer here at Middle Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 30's. Through the winter highs are frequently in the 30's while Middle Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. | | then we recommend Salmon River - East Fork of South Fork. This lake is one of the great places here in the Salmon River Mountains. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Middle Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Middle Lake has to offer, you can camp at Yellow Pine Campground, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Brundage Mountain since you're here. going for a hike on the Big Chief Creek Trail is always a pleasant adventure. That right there is plenty of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Salmon River Mountains has it all. There is a glorious hiking trail next to Middle
Lake called the Parks Peak Trail. There's so much to do here at Middle Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Golden Gate Campground is a pleasant location for that. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Crater Lake;
after a long day outdoors Mccall Super 8 Lodge is a splendid location to spend a night or two. The amount of rain that falls at Middle Lake is close to the national average; January is the wettest month with most snow while July is
the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's whitewater on Johnson Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and a good place to stop by close by is Profile Gap. Be careful coming to the Salmon River Mountains, you
might not ever want to return home again. There's some flowing water close by, Ellison Creek is a stream you can take a look at during your stay, and there are nice places to explore along the Indian Creek Trail.
