If you are in Valley county it's always a good idea to stop by Middle Fork Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Paddy Flat Lake Fork Trail, and float down the rapids of Salmon River - South Fork in a kayak. Camping at Middle Fork Lake is nice fun, Lake Fork Campground is a nice local campground, and if the weather is delightful, you obtain a fine panorama of Buckhorn Mountain from Middle Fork Lake.
