Salmon River is a wonderful whitewater spot near Middle Cramer Lake, and there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the Bull Moose Trail. If you came to camp Point       Campground is a great spot to do that, and going for a hike on the Black Warrior Creek Trail is always a great adventure. So much fun stuff to do in the Sawtooth Range, not enough time. You could also stop by Lower Cramer Lake while you're here at Middle Cramer Lake; it's close by, and camping at Heyburn Mountain Campground is always a pleasant experience. At Middle Cramer Lake during the warm months highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. The                  wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Middle Cramer Lake are in the 10's. Greyhawk by ResortQuest is a great place to get some rest, and close by you stumble on the Yellow Belly Trail which is a great hiking trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sawtooth Range. This lake is so wonderful. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Middle Cramer Lake; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
