Merriam Lake is one of the lakes here in the Lost River Range. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Lost River Range. Merriam Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Mt Borah Trailhead is a nice local campground. While you're here at Merriam Lake you will meet lots of folks from close by Mackay, and a wonderful place is Leatherman Pass.
A tremendous location to camp here at Merriam Lake is Mackay Reservoir - Joseph T. Fallini
    Camp Ground, and Yankee Fork State Park is a scenic place any time of year. Throughout the days of summer here at Merriam Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
