    Do stop by McWillards Lake while you're in this part of Idaho. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at McWillards Lake; during the month of January you get the most snow around here, and July is the month with the least moisture. Man, is there a load of amusing things to do in the Sawtooth Range. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything McWillards Lake has to offer, you can camp at Iron Creek Campground; on a nice day you  
   can take a hike along the Bull Moose Trail.
McWillards Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sawtooth Range. High temperatures at McWillards Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at McWillards Lake are in the 10's. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are beyond doubt bountiful here at McWillards Lake. If you
 
               come at the right time of year, Salmon River offers some good whitewater, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Salmon River.
There is a fine hiking trail close to McWillards Lake called the Black Warrior Creek Trail. There's so much to do here at McWillards Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Point Campground is a pleasant location for that. You just ought to go for the Sawtooth Range. If time allows, Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument is a national park worth visiting, and Cony Peak is picturesque and can be observed from here. Looking for something close to McWillards Lake? Baron Lakes is close by; the Yellow Belly Trail is a great hiking trail close by.
