This lake is so wonderful. People from Jackson love to come to McRenolds Reservoir. Going for a hike on the De Coster Trail is always a great adventure, and you can stay the night at Cave Falls Campground. Get your pulse rate up on the delightful whitewater of Bitch Creek; if you need a place to stay Teton Valley Cabins is a good choice. At McRenolds Reservoir you don’t see much       rainfall; during the month of January you get the most snow around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. There's so much to do here at McRenolds Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Teton Mountain View Lodge and RV Park is a delightful place for that, and great hiking is available along the Poacher Trail. A pretty lake like Ernest Lake in the neighborhood of McRenolds Reservoir is a fine site to check out, and a glorious site for whitewater                  paddling is Bitch Creek. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Grand Targhee is brilliant; you can go for a hike on the DeCoster Trail. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Do stop at Chain Lakes close to McRenolds Reservoir, it's a pretty lake; after a long day outdoors Teton Mountain View Lodge is a great site to spend a night or two. At McRenolds Reservoir during the months of summer highs are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's.
