A beautiful lake like Regan Lake next to McGown Lakes is a tremendous place to go to, and a journey to Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument is worthwhile. Throughout the summertime months here at McGown Lakes, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's while night lows are usually in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's       with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at McGown Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. A great location to camp here at McGown Lakes is Lake View Campground, and going for a hike on the Bull Moose Trail is always a magnificent adventure. There are tremendous sites to look at along the Bear Valley Creek Trail, and McGown Peak is easy to spot from McGown Lakes. You'll find a beautiful lake called Sawtooth Lake near McGown Lakes, and camping at Inlet Campground is always                  a great experience. McGown Lakes gets a common amount of rainfall; all through the month of January you get the most snow around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is located in the wonderful Sawtooth Range. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the Sawtooth Range has to offer. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! The Sawtooth Range is great!
