This lake is so wonderful. On a pleasant day at McCormick Lake you can take a hike along the Hanna Flast Nature Trail. Stay the night at Indian Creek Campground; if you need a spot to stay Schweitzer Mountain Resort is a brilliant choice. At McCormick Lake       all through the summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 20's while McCormick Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. What a spot this is for outdoors people. One of the main traits of the surroundings of McCormick Lake is Hunt Peak. Lakes? Sure, Hunt Lake is around here. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything                  McCormick Lake has to offer, you can camp at Sundance Village RV Park; a great nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SANDPOINT, NORTH. If you come at the right time of year, Pack River offers some pleasant whitewater, and you can never get enough of the good skiing at Schweitzer. A normal amount of rain falls here at McCormick Lake; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow while July is mostly the driest month.
