At McArthur Lake you can catch a sight of Elmira Peak, and a quick tour to Dodge Creek is absolutely a pleasant idea. This lake is so wonderful. McArthur Lake is a magnificent location to visit for more than one day, Deep Creek Campground is a magnificent location to camp nearby, and Bond Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. | |

Good hiking is available along the White Mountain Trail, and if you get bored of McArthur Lake you could also take a look at nearby Bradley Lake.
Hiking is a popular thing to do around McArthur Lake; Grouse Mountain Trail is a
wonderful local trail; if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pack River. This lake is so wonderful. There's magnificent hiking along the Upper North Fork Grouse Creek Trail, and you can
hit the slopes at Schweitzer in the vicinity. While you're here at McArthur Lake you will meet lots of people from close by Coeur d'Alene, and a pleasant trip to Kootenai Orchard is a good way to spend an afternoon.

...use group facility, bathhouse, amphitheater, dock, boat rentals, and 40 RV sites. 14 of them are 50amp fullhookup pull-thrus, 3 huge super sites overlooking the lake, and another 20 partial hookup sites. We also have camping cabins and covered wagons and Wooden pole tents with wooden floors. We also have internet, movie rentals, and sell propane too. This area has tons of hiking, fishing, hunting and canoing/kayaking in the Kootenai River. The Kootenai Wildlife Refuge is 5 miles away and is great to hike around. We have fishing and swimming in our 3 acre lake and have 2 huge Lakeside Firepits. Some of the sites have BBQs and Picnic Tables and we sell ice, wood, charcoal, pop, snacks and some RV hookup supplies. Here are a couple of great hikes to add to the site:
Snowcreek Falls, Naples, Idaho. Directions: Go north from Sandpoint on Highway 95 to Naples. Turn left on the old highway 95 and go about 5 miles, passing the Deep Creek Inn.
