Camping at Deep Creek Campground is always a great experience, and a visit to Kootenai Orchard rejuvenates the spirit. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous spot to camp here at McArthur Lake is Bonners Ferry Resort, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Upper North Fork Grouse Creek Trail. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool things the area near       McArthur Lake has to offer. Bloom Lake is a delightful lake near McArthur Lake, and going for a hike along the White Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. The skiing at Schweitzer is delightful, and McArthur Lake is not far at all from Coeur d'Alene. This lake is so wonderful. Why not stop at close by Dodge Creek if you're here at McArthur Lake, and one of the major characteristics of the surroundings of McArthur Lake is Elmira                  Peak. There's whitewater on Pack River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and Sandpoint Super 8 Motel is a magnificent place to get some rest. After a long day outdoors Best Western Kootenai River Inn & Casino is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can go to McArthur Dam; the Grouse Mountain Trail is a great hiking trail close by. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at McArthur Lake; the month with most of the snow is December, and July meanwhile is the driest month. For the duration of the summertime highs here at McArthur Lake get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's.
