If you like lakes and you're in this part of Idaho you can check out McArthur Lake. Elmira Peak is a peak you can distinguish from McArthur Lake; the scenery at McArthur Dam is beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. The Grouse Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best, and there's some flowing water close by, Dodge Creek is a stream you can take a look at during your stay. Gotta ski! For the period of the days of summer highs here at McArthur Lake reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at McArthur Lake are in the 10's. This place, McArthur Lake, it truly has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Float down the rapids of Pack River in a kayak, and a delightful site to camp here at McArthur Lake is Deep Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. | |

Don't leave McArthur Lake without first going for a hike along the White Mountain Trail, and why not camp at Blue Lake RV Park while you're here at McArthur Lake.
During your trip to McArthur Lake you'll meet some people from
Coeur d'Alene for sure, and a pleasant close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SANDPOINT NORTH. There's delightful hiking along the Upper North Fork Grouse Creek Trail. McArthur Lake is a good place of common rainfall;
December is the month that gets the most snow; the driest of the months is July.
Sandpoint Super 8 Motel is a good location to get some rest, and Dennick Lake is a pleasant lake close by.
