  This lake is so wonderful.
Bailey Mountain is a peak you can distinguish from May Lake, and Clearwater National Forest is a pretty place any time of year. This lake is located in the wonderful Bitterroot Range. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Bitterroot Range is excellent! If you came to camp Warm Springs Trailhead is a wonderful site to do that; camping at Jerry Johnson Campground is always a good experience.
For the period of the
    days of summer at May Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to May Lake.
