Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Maude Lake plunge into the 20's. Maude Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Green Flat Campground is a delightful local campground, and the Anderson Butte National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best. Yep,       outdoors cool things to do are really plentiful here at Maude Lake. Good hiking is available along the East Boyd Glover Roundtop National Recreation Trail. Just can't get enough of the Clearwater Mountains. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lochsa River, and a wonderful site to camp here at Maude Lake is Fog Mountain Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Fish Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby, and if                  you get bored of Maude Lake you could also go to nearby Mud Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Maude Lake; Meadow Creek National Recreation Trail is a splendid local trail, and Lottie Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. Maude Lake is one of the lakes here in the Clearwater Mountains.
