There's so much to do here at Maud Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Fort Lolo Hot Springs is a pleasant place for       that. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant location for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Maud Lake is Brushy Fork, and going for a hike on the Sally Ridge Trail is always a perfect adventure. Dry warm beds await you at Townhouse Inn of Hamilton, and don't leave Maud Lake without first going for a hike along the Saint Mary Peak Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of White Sand Creek in the vicinity of Maud Lake, and if you're                  here, you could also explore pretty Pearl Lake. So many exciting things in the Bitterroot Range, just astonishing. Maud Lake is in the neighborhood of Packbox Pass which is absolutely worth a visit, and Super 8 Motel - Hamilton is a good location to get some rest.
