  Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Sawtooth Range. A wonderful way to spend a winter day is to rent a snow mobile from Smiley Creek Lodge. Why not camp at Banner Creek if you're here at Marten Lake, and you're probably keen on lakes, Langer Lake is one of those close by. A trip to Challis National Forest when you're here at Marten Lake is never a bad idea. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sawtooth Range.
Camping is available
    at Thatcher Creek Campground, and needless to say, this is a great vicinity for people who like lakes, Josephus Lake is a lake in close proximity.
