This lake is so wonderful. You'll come across a picturesque lake called Swamp Lake near Marten Lake, and get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Marsh Creek. High temperatures at Marten Lake throughout the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Summer       overnight lows plunge down to the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are commonly in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Marten Lake through the winter commonly sink into the 10's. If only every site had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great planet it would be. Take a hike on the Camptender Trail. Marten Lake is located in the Sawtooth Range. Marten Lake gets a normal amount of rain; most of the snow falls during January; July is when it's the driest.                  Why not take a refreshing hike along the Blue Bunch Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Lola Creek Campground is a fine site to camp. You definitely have to go for the Sawtooth Range.
