The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Marshall Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. If you came for an overnight stay Point Campground is a tremendous                  place to camp, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Yellow Belly Trail. From a precipitation point of view Marshall Lake is a quite normal location; during January this area sees the most snow, and July is when it's the driest. Marshall Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sawtooth Range. This lake is so wonderful.
