Around Marsh Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; November is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is July. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Schweitzer, and Saddle Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Smith Creek; camping at Plowboy Campground is always a good experience.       Marsh Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Dirt Oven Campground is a fine local campground, and if you come at the right time of year, Boundary Creek offers some great whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. On a gorgeous day you get a view of Saddle Mountain from Marsh Lake; getting to Bog Creek from Marsh Lake is simple. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Marsh Lake is excellent!. All through the summertime, highs mostly are in the                  80's at Marsh Lake. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's.
