Beautiful Marion Lake has much to offer visitors. Now, you may believe that's heaps but there's even more fun stuff to do here in the Salmon River Mountains. You'll hit upon a beautiful lake called Rainbow Lake near Marion Lake; swing by Hanson Creek it's a great place to take a look at. An average amount of rain falls at Marion Lake; January is the wettest month with most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is one of the great places here

| | in the Salmon River Mountains. For the period of the warm days of summer at Marion Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 30's. Through the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Marion Lake throughout the wintertime usually dip into the 0's. Just can't get enough of Marion Lake. choice. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Salmon River Mountains is great! Have a great hiking adventure along the Parks Peak Trail, and Golden Gate Campground is a tremendous campground nearby. This lake
is so wonderful. Do pop by Shell Rock Lake in close proximity to Marion Lake, it's a beautiful lake; there are some good whitewater spots on Johnson Creek. Marion Lake is right by the Caton Lake Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Ice Hole Campground is a good spot to camp.
