    Marion Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things near Marion Lake. If you came to camp Ice Hole Campground is a tremendous spot to do that; magnificent hiking is available along the Caton Lake Trail. At Marion Lake all through the summer highs are in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Marion Lake dipping down  
   into the 0's throughout winter nights. The yearly rainfall here at Marion Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily January, that's the one that snows the most, and the driest month is July.
Mccall Super 8 Lodge is a delightful spot to get some rest, and swing by Hanson Creek it's a perfect place to stop at. Marion Lake is a beautiful lake in the Salmon River Mountains. These mountains rock, just look at all the exciting stuff to
 
               do in the Salmon River Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Salmon River - East Fork of South Fork, and Marion Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Golden Gate Campground is a good local campground. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Salmon River Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Marion Lake; Parks Peak Trail is a pleasant local trail, and the snow is good at Brundage Mountain. Johnson Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and there's tremendous hiking along the Ditch Creek Trail.
