The Salmon River Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Get soaked paddling on Payette River - North Fork; not far from Marge Lake you'll hit upon Pearl Lake which is a scenic lake. There are wonderful places to explore along the Box Lake Trail, and Marge Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Upper Payette Campground is a brilliant local campground. And if that's       not enough there's a load more fun things to do in the Salmon River Mountains. This place, Marge Lake, it truly has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Going for a hike on the Crestline Trail is always a great adventure, and if you need a place to stay AmericInn McCall is a tremendous choice. Marge Lake is generally a reasonably dried up spot; May is the month that gets the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Just can't get enough of                  the Salmon River Mountains. There's so much to do here at Marge Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Black Lee Campground is a splendid place for that; there are other sites here than Marge Lake, for example Burnside Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Marge Lake without first going for a hike along the Fall Creek Trail, and a delightful close by hotel is Mccall Super 8 Lodge. All through the days of summer here at Marge Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's.
