You can run the rapids of Big Wood River close to Magpie Reservoir; you don’t have to go far from Magpie Reservoir       to see the water at Dry Wash Dam. Airport Inn is a tremendous site to get some rest. At Magpie Reservoir through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Magpie Reservoir.
