This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay White Knob Motel & Trailer Pk is a good choice; Mackay Dam is not far at all from Mackay Reservoir. It is very dried up here at Mackay Reservoir ordinarily; the month with most of the rain is June while February is regularly the driest month. Black Daisy Canyon is a delightful spot to pop by close by; of course Upper Cedar Creek is a striking stream that is worth       taking a look at. After a long day outdoors Wagon Wheel Motel & RV Park is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two, and camping at Mackay Reservoir is splendid fun, River Park Golf Course is a splendid local campground. But wait, there's more fun things to do in the Lost River Range. Mackay Reservoir is a good place to camp, Wagon wheel Motel and RV Park is a good place, and for you golfers we recommend close by River Park Golf Course. If only every                  place had this much outdoors fun things, what a great planet it would be. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Mackay Reservoir, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's; overnight lows in the 0's for Mackay Reservoir.
