Lower Twin Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Hazard Campground is a glorious local campground, and going for a hike along the Crestline Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Near Lower Twin Lake you find great places like Warm Springs Saddle, and camping at Allison Creek Campground is always a great experience. That right there is lots of       amusing things already but it goes on, the Salmon River Mountains has it all. On a delightful day you obtain a vista of Hard Butte from Lower Twin Lake; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Hard Creek. This is a pleasant vicinity for folks who like lakes. Partridge Creek Lake is a lake close at hand, and hiking along the Broken Leg Trail is delightful fun. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Lower Twin Lake, and the                  overnight is slightly cooler of course, generally in the 50's.
