Many people like to go to Lower Twin Lake. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Lower Twin Lake. The Crestline Trail offers hiking at its best, and drift down the rapids of Hazard Creek in a kayak. If you came to camp Allison Creek Campground is a nice site to do that, and there's perfect hiking along the Lava Butte Trail. Throughout the days of summer at Lower Twin Lake highs are usually in the 90's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are mostly in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Lower Twin Lake sink into the 20's. driest month. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the Salmon River Mountains has to offer. Hard Butte can be seen from Lower Twin Lake, and a nice place nearby is Warm Springs Saddle.

Broken Leg Trail is a nice local trail.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Whitetail Club and Resort is a great place to spend a night or two.
