If you like lakes and you're in this part of Idaho you can check out Lower Twin Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Salmon River Mountains. And that's not everything you can do here in the Salmon River Mountains. There's so much to do here at Lower Twin Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hazard Campground is a perfect spot for that, and you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Broken Leg Trail. This lake is so wonderful.

Just can't get enough of the Salmon River Mountains. Lower Twin Lake is not the only spot nearby, Black Lake is a nearby lake; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Hard Creek. to stay Salmon River Motel is a tremendous choice. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lower Twin Lake. Nearby Warm Springs Saddle is a tremendous place to go if you're at Lower Twin Lake, and
get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Hazard Creek.
Summertime highs at Lower Twin Lake generally tend to be in the 90's. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are regularly in the
40's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Lower Twin Lake plunge into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Lower Twin Lake is pretty dehydrated regularly; the month with most of the rain is May, and July
is the month with the least moisture.
You get a good vista of Hard Butte from Lower Twin Lake, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Crestline Trail.
