You'll come across a stunning lake called Standard Lakes near Lower Standard Lake; paddling on Priest River is so much fun. At Lower Standard Lake during the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. All through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's while Lower Standard Lake nighttime low temperatures during       the wintertime are in the 10's. Lower Standard Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; December is the wettest month with most snow, and July on the other hand is the driest. A great spot to camp here at Lower Standard Lake is Dirt Oven Campground; on a great day you can take a hike along the White Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Schweitzer is just what you need, and if you need a place to stay Inn at Priest Lake Resort                  is a splendid choice. So much fun stuff to do at Lower Standard Lake, so little time. Camping at Indian Creek Campground is always a splendid experience, and a delightful nearby hotel is Schweitzer Mountain Resort. The summit of The Wigwams can be seen from Lower Standard Lake, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Chipmunk Rapids National Recreation Trail.
